Recently, China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation ("Sinosure") and CATL signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing. The two parties will cooperate on global business risk protection and financing support, providing CATL's global customers with more competitive financing solutions and supporting its high-quality global expansion.

CATL's global business has maintained rapid growth for several consecutive years. In 2025, CATL recorded an annual revenue of RMB 423.7 billion, with international market revenue accounting for 30.6% of the total. Its global market share in power batteries reached 30%, earning recognition from leading global customers including VW, BMW, and Stellantis. To address exchange rate fluctuations as well as commercial and country risks, CATL's agreement with Sinosure aims to accelerate the large-scale development of international production capacity and the deployment of its global supply chain through policy-based financial instruments, while enhancing the certainty of securing global large-scale projects and strengthening its commercial premium capabilities.

At present, global competition has evolved from market rivalry among individual enterprises into comprehensive competition between entire industrial chain ecosystems. As China's only policy-oriented financial institution specializing in export credit insurance, Sinosure will provide CATL with comprehensive support in areas including risk protection for the new energy industry chain and the development of key international markets, ensuring the security of its global assets.
